Do I need to bring anything?
You’re welcome to bring a brush or comb, and if you wear contact lenses, please bring a case to store them.
We provide everything else you’ll need, including ear plugs, shampoo, conditioner, and towels.
How do you keep the tanks clean?
The high-salinity environment of our float pools naturally prevents the growth of parasites, bacteria, and fungi, ensuring the water remains exceptionally clean. At Escape Float Therapy, we maintain the highest standards of hygiene so you can float with complete peace of mind.
All guests are required to shower before entering the float room. After each session, the water is thoroughly filtered multiple times, passed through UV light purification, and carefully tested by our trained staff. In addition, the Health Department conducts regular inspections and testing.
Your health, safety, and relaxation are our top priority.
Will the salt hurt my skin?
Not at all—the salt is actually beneficial for your skin, leaving it soft and silky after your post-float shower, without the wrinkling effect of regular water. If you have small cuts, scratches, or abrasions, you may notice a slight stinging sensation.
For the most comfortable experience, we recommend avoiding shaving within four hours of your float and using the provided Vaseline to cover any minor cuts before your session.
What if I am claustrophobic?
You are always in full control of your float experience. If you prefer, you can leave the cabin door open and the light on throughout your session. Even guests with significant claustrophobia regularly report feeling comfortable and at ease while floating.
What if I Fall asleep?
Relax and enjoy—our Epsom salt solution creates incredible natural buoyancy, making it impossible to sink or roll over while floating. Simply lie back and allow the water to fully support you. Many guests even drift off to sleep, experiencing one of the deepest, most restorative rests they’ve ever had.
What is Epsom salt?
Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulphate, is completely non-toxic and has been valued for centuries for its therapeutic benefits. In float therapy, it increases the density of the water to create effortless buoyancy, while also softening and nourishing the skin. Magnesium absorption through the skin may also support those with a deficiency.
